Collider is thrilled to exclusively reveal that Britt Robertson will be stepping into yet another Christmas romantic comedy next year. The Longest Ride actress is set to star in and executive produce Christmas in Blue Moon Bay alongside producers Fabio Golombek and Shannon Alexander with FJ Productions. She’ll play Sarah Lewis, the big city girl at a crossroads in her life, forced to return to her hometown — a tale as old as time for a good Christmas rom-com. The screenplay will be based on the book A Lot Like Love by Jennifer Snow, who is also penning the screenplay. Filming will begin in Kentucky in March 2026, and the search is on for Sarah’s love interest, who is said to be a single father, construction worker, and business owner (once again ticking those picture-perfect boxes for a good holiday rom-com). According to the book’s description, his name is Wes Sharrun, a widower struggling to provide for his nine-year-old daughter.
